Monster Jam® kicked off the new year with competition in six cities across the country. Fans in Des Moines, Charlotte, Nashville, Salt Lake City, Birmingham and Tulsa watched as the Road to Monster Jam World Finals® XVIII passed the first milestone.
In Birmingham, Saturday shows were cancelled due to inclement weather. The Sunday program for the Triple Threat East Series® set the bar for competition to be witnessed throughout the year.
Nashville and Tulsa saw the debut of Megalodon™ and it was a triumphant start as drivers Justin Sipes and Alex Blackwell picked up event championships. Tristan England drove EarthShaker™ in Birmingham with an appreciative crowd marveling at the truck during the pre-show Pit Party.
Each tour will take part in a program that awards points for each competition, crowning an event champion at the end of a show. The points will be tallied throughout the season. Keep up to date with the latest point standings here.
