Fresno’s Save Mart Center will be the next stop as competitors from the West Tour of the 2016 Monster Jam® featuring the AMSOIL Series will reunite for exciting action. With the bid to the 2016 Monster Jam World Finals® no longer available, the athletes will focus attention on each of the three competitions to give fans some exciting action.
Each of the six teams is fresh from an appearance at the March 15-17 Monster Jam World Finals held in Las Vegas, which saw 2016 West Tour champion Morgan Kane and Team Grave Digger® capture the overall Racing championship. As second fast qualifier, Kane marched through the field to record his first stadium Racing victory since claiming the crown in Minneapolis in December 2011.
The experience gained in Las Vegas will serve everyone well as the weekend unfolds. With the point standings reset, all teams are shooting for the individual event championships as they return to utilize Monster Jam trucks, Speedsters and ATVs in the competitions. The athlete with the most total points at the end of the performance will claim the coveted title for that show with total points awarded at the end of the Saturday night finale.
