The 2016 Monster Jam television shows will provide the greatest Monster Jam action, in addition to taking an even deeper look into the drivers and personalities that make up the greatest stadium and arena-based motorsports series in the world, through the feature-based Inside Monster Jam episodes. Joining Scott Douglass in the booth for play-by-play commentary of all the Monster Jam action will be color analyst Bob Dillner. Dillner, an auto racing enthusiast joins Monster Jam with 17 years of motorsports broadcasting experience. Along with Monster Jam, Dillner is a regular participant on several racing shows across America, including Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Performance Racing Network, Motor Racing Network and NASCAR Home Tracks Radio.

“I’ve watched Monster Jam for years and am honored to be a part of it,” said Dillner. “I love the racing, the freestyle and the points championship that comes along with all of it. Nothing replaces watching Monster Jam with its power and the energy in sold-out stadiums and arenas, but Scott and I hope to convey as much as possible through the television broadcasts. This is going to be quite the championship battle and going into the season it’s up for grabs.”

After its debut two weeks ago, the Monster Jam® FS1 Championship Series revved its way into Raymond James Stadium this past weekend..  Coming out of the first week, Adam Anderson (Grave Digger®) had accumulated two points for winning the Freestyle competition, while Dustin Brown (Monster Mutt® Junkyard Dog) racked up two points for winning the Racing competition.  After all of the action in Atlanta, fans in Tampa were eager to see who would take home the points for the night.

The racing in Tampa was competitive, with Adam Anderson  and Grave Digger holding the fastest qualifying time for the evening.  In Racing, Monster Mutt Junkyard Dog and Dustin Brown would advance to the semi-finals, but faced mechanical issues that would prevent them from gaining any additional points. Damon Bradshaw (Monster Energy®) and Adam Anderson (Grave Digger) faced off in the Championship Round of Racing, with Damon taking home the hardware and the points for the night.

For the second week in a row, Adam Anderson in Grave Digger wow’d the crowd with his Freestyle run and took home two points and the trophy.  Combine that with his win last week and fastest qualifying time, and Adam holds the lead in the point series with a total of five points.  Becky McDonough (El Toro Loco®) attempted her first-ever backflip, but was unable to land it.  Max-D™ opened up the Freestyle competition with a new stunt – a sky wheelie over three other Monster Jam trucks!

With all of the competition in Tampa, Orlando will be another important stop on the Monster Jam FS1 Championship Series.  Will Team Grave Digger be able to take home the Freestyle hardware for a third week in a row?  Can Dustin Brown end up on top in Racing again?  Or will we see two new event champions  at the Citrus Bowl?  Get your tickets today!

Tune in to FS1 THIS MONDAY at 4pm ET to catch Monster Jam from Tampa.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for more exclusive content.

Monster Jam® featuring the AMSOIL Series in Salt Lake City was a weekend full of competition between the athletes.  The battle for the coveted Monster Jam World Finals XVII spot is between Morgan Kane, Colton Eichelberger, and Young Guns Shootout Champion, Coty Saucier..  Between Friday and Saturday, 20 of the 24 possible points were snagged by Team Grave Digger®, Team Max-D and Team Monster Energy®.

On Friday night, Kane scored a total of 4.5 points, with wins in Monster Jam Racing, Wheelies, ATV heats, and Freestyle.  Coming out of intermission, Team Grave Digger held the lead by only one point, but after earning two points in the second half from Freestyle, they ended up on top for the night.

On Saturday afternoon, Team Monster Energy could not be beat.  Saucier snagged the points for Monster Jam Racing, Speedster Racing, and Wheelies.  These wins  accounted for 75% of the available points in the first half.  In the second half, he didn’t score in Donuts, but earned two more points in Freestyle for a total of five points, clinching the title of overall event champion for the weekend.  This is Coty’s first overall event win for the series.

During the last competition in Salt Lake City, Morgan Kane hit the track with a vengeance.  Kane edged out Saucier by just one point, taking the win in both the Wheelies and Freestyle competition to end up on top.  Team Monster Energy held the lead in the first half and accumulated two points, but not enough to beat Team Grave Digger.

The action continues for the west series next week in Sacramento, as the eight Monster Jam featuring the AMSOIL Series athletes hit the dirt at Sleep Train Arena.  Get your tickets today and stay tuned for the latest news!

At the Nutter Center in Dayton, Team Zombie™ and Bari Musawwir took another step  toward clinching the title of East Tour champion for the 2016 Monster Jam® featuring the  AMSOIL Series. The 2012 Young Guns champion scored in two of the three Monster Jam Racing competitions and added a pair of Freestyle victories to stretch out the advantage over second place. The eight points awarded for the competition was one of the best showings of the season. He has extended his speedster racing record to 31-5 on the season.

Cole Venard and Team Grave Digger® moved into second place in nearly every competition, bypassing Bailey Shea andTeam Scooby-Doo™, who managed to win a pair of ATV heats . Grave Digger  dominated in Monster Jam Racing, then added points by winning in the Speedster obstacle course.

Close racing and tightly judged performances were demonstrated this weekend as the athletes put their best efforts on the line. This latest show gave a good indication of just how tight the competition is as seven drivers scored points in the weekend competition.

With five weeks of competition remaining, the  tour has reached the halfway point. The tour championship carries an important invitation to the Monster Jam World Finals XVII presented by NGK Spark Plugs held on March 17-19 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There are more  points on the line as the series heads to the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO. next week.  Details can be found at http://www.monsterjam.com/events/kansas-city-mo

This weekend at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, the 2015 Young Guns Shootout Champion Coty Saucier, Monster Jam® veteran Morgan Kane, and rookie Tyler Menninga proved they were going to battle it out until the end.

Friday night started off strong for Grave Digger® driver Morgan Kane. With 1 point for both Monster Jam Racing and Speedster Racing, he earned a perfect score of 40 during the freestyle competition. On Saturday, Kane snagged points for Wheelies and Freestyle racking up 3.5 points for the night and taking the night’s overall championship.  Team Blue Thunder®& Tyler Menninga held their own along with athletes Kayla Blood, Tyler Groth, and Coty Saucier by bringing home one point each on Saturday night.

While Kane claimed the championship both Friday and Saturday, Coty Saucier took home an overall win on Sunday with a stellar performance. Team Monster Energy took home wins in Monster Jam Racing, Freestyle and Speedster Racing. In his first year behind the wheel, Menninga showed fans that he was in it to win it  by not only bringing home 2 points on Sunday for wins in the Metro PCS ATV Main Event and the Speedster Obstacle Course Racing AMSOIL Dominator Main Event, but for also making it to the semi-finals in Monster Jam Racing all weekend long. Is a Monster Jam Racing win on the horizon for Team Blue Thunder?

LAS VEGAS (March 17, 2016) – Luck was in the air tonight on St. Patrick’s Day as Monster Energy and Damon Bradshaw solidified the number one seed for tomorrow night’s World Racing Championship by racing to the Double Down fastest qualifying time at Monster Jam World Finals® XVII presented by NGK Spark Plugs. Bradshaw’s qualifying time of 15.815 set a Monster Jam World Finals record as the fastest recorded time on the Sam Boyd Stadium track.

“I’m very excited for my team,” said Monster Energy driver, Bradshaw. “My crew works so hard to give me a good truck, and I am honored to drive it and to do what we do for these fans. I’m ready to go racing tomorrow! We feel very confident, and the odds are against us since the fastest qualifier rarely wins the racing championship, but it has been done before. I think we’re going to make it happen!”

The luck continued for DragonTM, driven by Scott Liddycoat, who took home the 2016 Young Guns ShootoutTM Championship. With the win in the 16-truck Young Guns Shootout field, Liddycoat will be the 32nd competitor in this weekend’s World Racing and Freestyle Competitions.

“Wow! Anyone of these guys could run in the big show tomorrow night, but we won so we will give it our best shot,” said Liddycoat. “In the semi-final round we had a rear steer problem, but my crew guys are amazing and got it fixed. Without them we wouldn’t be standing here.”

The sixth annual Young Guns Shootout saw many exciting rounds of racing with some of the top picks to win it all being eliminated in dramatic fashion. The final round pitted Monster Jam’s youngest athlete, Tyler Menninga, and Blue Thunder® against the field’s oldest competitor, Liddycoat, in a battle of the ages. In a photo finish, Dragon raced to victory by only a few tenths of a second.

Grave Digger® Crowned the 2016 Monster Jam World Finals® XVII Racing Champion

LAS VEGAS (March 18, 2016) – Monster Jam World Finals® presented by NGK Spark Plugs saw Grave Digger® driven by Morgan Kane battle his way through the 32-Monster Jam truck bracket to become the 2016 Monster Jam World Finals Racing Champion. This is Kane’s first stadium racing championship win since 2011 in Minneapolis where he beat out Ryan Anderson and Son-uva Digger®. The win also brought the Monster Jam World Finals hardware back to the Grave Digger team that last saw the trophy when Dennis Anderson won a championship in 2010.

Fans were on their toes when Monster Mutt® Dalmatian driven by Candice Jolly lined up at the BKT starting line against her husband, Neil Elliott driving FS1 Cleatus in the first round of competition. This race marked the first time in Monster Jam World Finals history with that a husband and wife raced against each other, and Elliott drove away with the win. The most exciting race of the second round came when Max-DTM, driven by Tom Meents, and Anderson [Dennis] driving Grave Digger® raced down Thunder Alley with the most chaotic finish of the night. Meents was able to make it to the finish line first after saving the truck from flipping over before the race jump.

All of Sam Boyd Stadium was shocked when last night’s fastest qualifier, Damon Bradshaw, was unable to start in the quarter final round against his teammate Coty Saucier due to mechanical issues with his truck. Saucier went on to battle the reigning Monster Jam World Finals Racing champion Todd LeDuc in Metal Mulisha in the semi-final round, with LeDuc becoming victorious. Friends off the track and competitors on the track, Anderson [Ryan] in Son-uva Digger and Kane in Grave Digger lined up to compete for the last spot in the final racing round. Kane, the current Monster Jam featuring the AMSOIL Series champion, left his friend in the dust as he reached the finish line first.

After a slight scare with Grave Digger not starting due to a mechanical issue, the Grave Digger crew was able to get Kane to the starting line for the final round of racing against Metal Mulisha and LeDuc. Kane and Grave Digger edged out the reigning World Racing Champion to take home this year’s hardware and to etch his name in the record books.

“This is the year of Grave Digger,” said Kane. “We got the win, and I’m taking it all the way back to North Carolina. We are not stopping now. There are so many guys that help us out to be ‘Bad to the Bone,” and we all deserve this. I can’t wait to hold this trophy, thank you everyone who packed this house tonight. We love you!”

“Congrats to Morgan Kane, you’ve been hot all year long,” said Anderson [Dennis]. “These new young guns are amazing, the Monster Jam World Finals are the biggest and the best and Grave Digger is still a part of it!”

Kane drove a newly-designed Grave Digger truck tonight, which was inspired by the limited edition Halloween Grave Digger Hot Wheels® die-cast toy.

Grave Digger Crowned the 2016 Monster Jam World Finals Freestyle Champion

LAS VEGAS (March 19, 2016) - In a night that saw the track beating the truck more than not, the Monster Jam World Finals® presented by NGK Spark Plugs crowned Grave Digger® and Adam Anderson the new World Freestyle champion. By winning this championship, Anderson etched the Grave Digger team in to the record books as they won every major championship in 2016 - both Monster Jam featuring the AMSOIL Series, the Monster Jam FS1 Championship Series, the 2016 World Racing championship and now the 2016 World Freestyle championship.

Tonight's 32-truck field pinned 10 former champion drivers representing 15 Monster Jam World Finals Freestyle titles against each other to fight for the hardware. It was a battle of the Grave Digger drivers as Monster Jam World Finals rookie Cole Venard started the night putting Grave Digger in the hot seat. Fifteen drivers later, Dennis Anderson knocked Venard out of the competition. While Anderson [Dennis] enjoyed the hot seat domination for the next nine trucks, it was his oldest son, Adam, who would eliminate his father from the contest, ultimately winning the title.

"It's good to be back," said Anderson [Adam]. "We've loved you for 30-40 years. We've had the best year and all the hardware is going back to North Carolina with Team Digger! Next year is the 35th Grave Digger anniversary, and there's no telling what's going to happen. I can't wait! Thank you to all of Monster Jam fans for coming out."
